ABOUT
Michael is a geotechnical engineer and geophysicist specializing in the integration of geophysical
exploratory techniques into engineering, environmental, and exploration projects. He has 25 years of
experience in engineering and geophysical field of work. Michael has an undergraduate civil engineering degree from Texas A&M University, and graduate degree in geophysics from University of Texas at Dallas.
Michael Gehrig P.E., P.G.
Lucien Gehrig P.E.
Lucien is a civil engineer specializing in seismic exploration, where he leads survey design and field acquisition for engineering, groundwater, and energy projects. He has over 20 years of experience in engineering and geophysical work, including shallow seismic refraction, seismic reflection, and multi-channel analysis of surface waves (MASW). Before joining TEG, he spent ten years managing residential and commercial land development projects across Texas. Lucien has an undergraduate civil engineering degree from Texas A&M University and is a licensed Professional Engineer in Texas.
Karen Schmid
Karen is a geophysicist specializing in seismic data exploration. She spent 2 years with WesternGeco - Schlumberger, as a seismic data processor before joining TEG. Karen has over 15 years of experience in geophysical field work. She has an undergraduate geophysics degree from Texas A&M University.
Texoma Exploration Group was formed in 2014 by three siblings: Michael Gehrig, Lucien Gehrig, and Karen Schmid. All three have degrees in Engineering and/or Geoscience. Our main office is located in Muenster, TX, but we provide geophysical services all over Texas and surrounding states.
